Result of February 26th hearing: The BOC voted 3-0 to table this item until March 26th.

Purpose of Hearing: Part 1 - Rezone an 84.30± acre portion from Agricultural Residential 1 (AR-1) to Residential Multi-Family (R-MF) to allow a 700 unit residential development consisting of 320 apartment units and 380 townhomes and stacked flats with various amenity features.

Part 2 - Rezone a 194.10± acre portion of a tract from Agricultural Residential 1 (AR1) to Light Industrial (I-1) to allow for an industrial park, (See map at the end of this article.)

Applicant: K2P Land Partners, LLC

Result: The Board of Commissioners voted 3 - 0 to approve both items. Mr. Gibbs did not call for a vote in opposition. An unusual requirement of a GA DOT "dog bone" roundabout must be added to Old Winder Hwy before construction of the development.
