Hall County School District Board of Education Regular Meeting

The agenda for the HCSD BOE Meeting covered Self Assessment documentation to be submitted to the Georgia School Board Association, along with their annual training report and an application to be recognized as an Exemplary Board.

The Financial Reports for May and a Spending Resolution for July were submitted and approved. The Spending Resolution is a direct result of the delay in the production of the Tax Digest from the Hall County Tax Assessor's Office. This Resolution allows the HCSD to use 1/12 of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget for expenditures. There was also a discussion of the Fiscal Year 2026 preliminary budget. The Board approved kitchen equipment from the former World Language Academy location for surplus, as well as contracts for the School Nutrition Department.

Project Funding requests and transfers from Bond 2023 to ESPLOST VI were also approved. Attachments are located in the agenda.
