The Citizens of Hall County are Banding Together to Fight Widespread Corruption in Local Government
Updated February 25, 2026 -- Subject: Stand Up Against Corruption in Hall County – Your Support Is Crucial Dear Friends and Supporters, Are you tired of witnessing government corruption and the lack of transparency affecting our community in Gainesville and Hall County, GA?
Please read below and consider donating. This is just the tip of the iceberg folks. We have a couple of groups and several citizens leading the way to rid this county of all the corruption and scandalous behaviors that have plagued it for the last several years, and possible decades. Growth is out of control and certain developers and realtors control the Planning Boards and Hall County Commission. It is time for wholesale changes.
The local group, Hall Informed, has led the charge to rid this county of the widespread corruption. The court dates have been set for these cases. The cases have been set for March 16, 17, and 19. The hearings will begin at 10:00 am and will be heard in courtroom 404. You can go to the PeachCourt website and find out all the details and find all the filings.
Please plan to show up and support Jodi as she takes on this endeavor for the betterment of Hall County. The more people that show up in support of this cause the more it will help show how many people are in support of ending this corruption.

- White vs Hall County Commission and all the commissioners
- White vs Stan Hunt, Chris Braswell and Frank Sosebee
- White vs Kathy Cooper, Billy Powell and Jeff Stowe

Here are the Details of the Lawsuits and what is going on with Hall County
We understand, and we are fighting back with every tool at our disposal. North Georgia Advocate, and Hall Informed, was created to tackle these issues head-on. In collaboration with Hall Informed, an organization that has been at the forefront of uncovering and addressing governmental corruption in Hall County, we are calling upon our community for support. Hall Informed has courageously filed lawsuits against the Hall County Commission and Planning Commissioners whose clandestine dealings have finally come to light.
This fight involves significant costs that continue to climb: court fees, hiring court reporters, and covering filing expenses. We are reaching out to you, our fellow citizens, to help us raise $5,000 to continue this battle for justice and transparency. The time to act is now. Those in power have requested that these lawsuits be dismissed, adding new legal hurdles and expenses. Corruption has thrived due to secret meetings held amongst commissioners—a clear violation of Georgia's "Sunshine Laws."
After thorough investigation, those implicated were dismissed. Yet, the cycle of corruption persists as certain commissioners refuse to re-evaluate decisions stemming from these meetings, blocking the path towards fair governance. Shockingly, the dismissed Planning Board members are fighting to get their positions back through costly appeals, despite the blatant misuse of taxpayer money.
These ousted planning commissioners are willing to spend $100K+ to reclaim a $12K per year job, showcasing the kind of distorted priorities that we are up against. Together, Hall Informed and other dedicated citizens are committed to holding these officials accountable.
