Hall County Debate Should be Great for Information on Most of the Candidates
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, voters across Hall County will have a rare opportunity to witness something increasingly uncommon in today’s political landscape: a truly open, unscripted, and nonpartisan debate featuring candidates from some of the most important local races.
Hosted by Hall Informed, the 2026 Hall County Public Debate will take place at the Gainesville Civic Center in the Sidney Lanier Room, with a scheduled start time of 9:30 AM.
This event is not just another political gathering—it is a deliberate effort to restore transparency, accountability, and genuine voter engagement at the local level.

- Responses will be timed and evenly enforced
- Questions will be rotated fairly
- A live public Q&A session will allow direct voter engagement

Perhaps most notably, Hall Informed is introducing a powerful visual symbol of accountability:
👉 Any candidate who declines or fails to respond will have an empty chair placed at the table, accompanied by a printed copy of their invitation and response—or lack thereof.
